  Most of you haven't heard about the Canadian music group "Walk off the Earth " probably . Now,I want to mention them ,their style and their success. I have chosen this group to talk about because I wasn't aware of them until one of my friends recommended me to listen them. Actually , they have lots of videos on YouTube and millions of clicks . The group started to function in 2006. They published some songs on the Internet , and also covered poplar songs with a low budget . Although they don't have a manager or a company for working together , they have a great number of followers . With this challenging situation in which they are , they managed to attract the music lovers' attention . Playing some instruments such as "ukelele" and "theremin" , they form a different style while singing and covering the songs .

"Walk off the Earth " got their first success by interpretting the songs of another group "The Gregory Brothers" . Moreover, they had an incredible fame by covering their song "Somebody That I Used To Know " of Gotye . That cover became pretty popular and had 127 clicks on YouTube . They have a 5-person staff which is formed of people who can play different kinds of guitar and other instruments . I really like their unusual style of singing. I think that they certainly will be the most popular music group in Turkey in the future as it is in others.Because I have never seen such a creative and wondeerful group like them . They deserve to be mostly admired thanks to their precious skills.

f I were a jury choosing the person of the year, I would choose Felix Baumgartner. Because he is full with the desire of flying and broke a world record jumping from 39km height. He was born in 20^th April 1969 in Salzburg, which is a city in Australia. He has always forced both the limit of a manned flight and his own limit. When he was 16, he started skydiving. Moreover, he was a member of the Austrian army with a responsibility for show and race, so he developed his flight skills at that time. In 1988, he started to exhibit skydiving shows for Red Bull. Felix’s adventurous soul and Red Bull’s way of extraordinary thinking have matched and they have been cooperating since those days. Now, I want to mention his success a little. He has been the first person to cross the English Channel with a particular carbon fiber wing. He achieved the world’s first jump from Christ the Redeemer Statue. He also jumped with parachute from Turning Torso in 2006. In 2007, he was again the first person to jump from the ninety-first floor of the building of Taipei 101. In addition to these successes; his most important one is his exceeding the sound wall, with no suspicion. He started to go up with a capsule which heighted 1360 kg in helium balloon from New Mexico. The rise lasted almost two and half an hour. When he reached 39.000 km, he jumped from the balloon and reached 1165 speed per hour. He could land successfully after six minutes. This was enough to break a world record, and of course he did. I really appreciate his passion about skydiving or jump. I enjoy this kind of extreme sports, so I prefer choosing him as the person of the year. I think he deserves it with this adventurous soul in him.

I chose this video as an exercise because I really find the song interesting and joyful. Actually, its subject attracted me with its extraordinary name “What does the fox say?” And also it is a good one especially for kids to learn the sounds of the animals. J

To tell the truth, finding a video wasn’t easy for me. I wanted my task to be an attractive one, so I decided this video. Moreover, preparing the questions makes me feel like I am a teacher rather than a student. J

                                 FROM STRUGLE COMES SUCCESS 

This video is about the life of Joseph Azam. He tells about his poor life when he was young, and so he had to struggle for having a comfortable life in the future. Because he grew up in a wealthy area being poor. He always wanted to be like the rich people around him. When he saw that his parents worked hard, he realized that he had no other choice except being determined and studying much. And now, I want to talk about the reasons behind choosing this motivating video. It attracted my attention, because almost all the people want to achieve their goal, but not to study hard or struggle. I mean that wew are in a good university and have los of opportunity to improve ourselves to succeed in the areas we want. On the other hand, we tend to complain often. It has become quite normal to see students complain about their tasks. I believe that we forget our goals for the future easily. We fail to believe that there is no gain without pain. We should have positive beliefs instead of negative ones. Because it is quite important to make your brain reay for work before you attempt to do it. I mean being ready both physically and emotionally, actually. Because I have never seen a person who has a successful career without making any effort in his life. I really appreciate Joseph Azam for his behaviour with determination. He is now the owner of a company called Design Shopp aand has a great life thanks to his ambition.We know that everyone deserves to be successful if they really want and struggle.
