                                               SLEEP PATTERN

Sleep is an inevitable necessity in our life like eating,drinking,resting...Have you ever thought that how many hours should we sleep for a regular and healthy life? I want to mention sleeping and some problems we have difficulty in dealing within our lives. I think, sleeping problem is a common one around all of the people. We can see a person who wants to sleep more and more, especially in the mornings. We can give the students as an example to this problem.We come across with the students at any range. We can see one sleeping in a primary school or an elder one in a university. Their problem stems from their desire to have fun instesd of a regular sleep pattern. If we ask them the reason of this desire , it is possible for us to take an answer like this : "We are supposed to sleep less , but study more". Now , we think that there must be an order to decrease this problem.

Actually, the ideal hour for sleeping is from 6 to 8 according to researchers. This can be so little for the people who have sleeping problems,but  they must go to bed as early as possible so as to get accustomed to this progress.Furthermore,getting rid of the trivial things around you can be another good solution for your sleeping. Because all of us have the same devices that prevent us from sleeping early. Then, the most important thing that we should do about this problem is determining to solve the problem and arranging our sleeping time well,first of all. Afterwards, we will be able to see the difference between our old hurtful life and the regular life.

reflection task 1b

    Most of you haven't heard about the Canadian music group "Walk off the Earth " probably . Now,I want to mention them ,their style and their success. I have choosen this group to talk about because I wasn't aware of them until one of my friends recommended me to listen them. Actually , they have lots of videos on YouTube and millions of clicks . The group started to function in 2006. They published some songs on the Internet , and also covered poplar songs with a low budget . Although they don't have a manager or a company for working together , they have a great number of followers . With this challenging situation in which they are , they managed to attract the music lovers' attention . Playing some instruments such as "ukelele" and "theremin" , they form a different style while singing and covering the songs .

"Walk off the Earth " got their first success by interpretting the songs of another group "The Gregory Brothers" . Moreover, they had an incredible fame by covering their song "Somebody That I Used To Know " of Gotye . That cover became pretty popular and had 127 clicks on YouTube . They have a 5-person staff which is formed of people who can play different kinds of guitar and other instruments . I really like their unusual style of singing. I think that they certainly will be the most popular music group in Turkey in the future as it is in others.Because I have never seen such a creative and wondeerful group like them . They deserve to be mostly admired thanks to their precious skills.

I used to own my world as a king of Burger 

People would admire when I presented my precious menu

Now in the morning I see that I have hardly anything related to Burger King     

I'm not popular as I used to be in those years 

I used to have a lot of friends with me

Listen as the crowd would say "You are the best"

Now I don't have any customer

One minute,I was happy and next everything is just the opposite 

I discovered that my life has really changed.

  Hello ! I'm Haticenur. I graduated from METU department of Foreign Education.After my gratuation , I decided to go on my eduation , so I started to study Bosphrus University at English Language and Literature. I preferred literature because I like poetry. Now , I am a teacher in İstanbul in a private school. And also , me and my friends have an office for interpretting books. It is a lovely place and working with my friends is pretty enjoyable. I vocalize several cartoons , too. I really enjor doing this job thanks to my fondness of children. I love giving presents to them in anywhere. My hobbies aren't limited with them. I love travelling abroad so much. I have been in Romania,Japan,Brazil,Spain,Germany... As a result , I know speaking German,Russain,Japanese,Spanish.In my leisure times , I usually read book in my sweet home. Moreover I sing a song loudly when I am alone . It makes me relaxed and by doing so, I get myself ready for a busy week.I have a plan for the future such as buying a large house by the seaside. I want to design it by myself.I will use one of the rooms for my works on cartoons.

1)Our beagle loves to hunt. When someone opens the back door for her,she barrels down porch steps into the yard,and runs back and forth across the lawn in ecstasy. Her nose cruises the wet grass for smells of cats,rabbit and other presences which are too subtle for human detection. She sniffs and spins her tail in quick circles . Firstly , it spins clockwise and then counterclockwise . These two activities which are sniffing and spinnig always occur together and seem to probel her along .

2)The Government Printing Office which is the official publishing house for the federal government in Washington D.C is a source of much useful information . But few people know about it . The GPO publishes pamplets and books books on a vast number of subjects which range from the dangers of X-rays from home TV sets to the identification of mushrooms . About 27.000 publications many of which are are inexpensive are offerred through the Superintendent of Documents . And also , there is no charge at all for some . ( with 3 )

3)A man called John Jacob Astor reaped America's first fortune and was a German immigrant . Because of being lowborn and uneducated , he made his initial money trading Indian furs . Astor never learned to speak English properly , so he carried on his business to the end in an accent which was redolent of the Hamburg's gutters .
